The new Backdoor Castlerock builds on its proven predecessor and marks another step forward in our material development. For the first time, the Flysheet a siliconized fabric with PFAS-free C0 water repellency. The C0 treatment allows water to bead up and roll off without harmful fluorochemicals. The silicone coating on the outside ensures longer-lasting water repellency, while the PU coating on the inside guarantees complete waterproofing. At the same time, the silicone layer increases tear and tensile strength, thereby improving durability and cold resistance. The 4-person family tent features a dark, understated design for a low-profile presence in nature. The 4-season version also features a neon red frame for better visibility in snow and emergency situations.
